Appointments 08:00 - 17:30 with a range of clinical staff
- Appointments can be made in person, over the internet or by telephone during the above hours.
- For routine appointments, please book well in advance.
- Please make a separate appointment for each person seeing the clinician.
- For internet appointments please ask reception for details.
- For more immediate problems we will make every effort to offer an appointment as soon as possible.
We encourage all our patients to have regular healthcare assessment and medication review. We prefer the under 75’s to see us at least once every 3 years. For those over 75, we would recommend an annual check. This can be in the patients home if the doctor feels it is clinically necessary.
DNAs - 230 appointments were lost between September 18 - November 18, due to people not informing us that they no longer required or forgot they had booked an appointment! We have a text reminder service to mobile numbers and whilst the figures have reduced we need these appointments for patients who require our support. Could you please ensure you cancel unwanted appointments. Thank you.

Medical/Nursing Students And Trainee GPs
Students (who are fully qualified hospital doctors gaining experience in family practice) are attached to this practice. Generations of doctors and nurses have been taught in this way and we find that both patients and doctors/nurses benefit. If you object strongly, please inform the receptionist at the time of booking.
Patients should arrive in good time for their appointment. If you are unable to attend a booked appointment please cancel the appointment promptly. Patients who repeatedly DNA will be written too and may be asked to register elsewhere.
Violent or abusive patients will not be tolerated. The police will be called to remove such patients from the premises, where necessary and the patient notified of their removal from the practice list.
